Write for us

Honest Leisure Review welcomes considered pitches about hobbies, outings, home pursuits, shared activities and the small habits that shape free time. Send proposals through the Contact page; we cannot promise publication or a particular response time.

What to pitch

Propose a focused subject with lasting interest: a useful comparison, an explanation of why a pastime works as it does, a piece of background, a common misconception or a plan for a particular kind of leisure occasion. The subject should be safe for a general reader to explore without specialist supervision or local-rule checking.

What makes a strong proposal

Tell us the central question, the main point readers will take away and what makes the approach distinct from familiar advice. Include a brief outline and any important sources or experience that inform the pitch. Keep claims proportionate, and flag uncertainty rather than smoothing it over.

Sending your idea

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then include your proposed title, summary and a short note about your approach. Please send a proposal rather than a finished article unless we have agreed otherwise. Do not include confidential or private information.
